It all began when Yaron went undercover inside the German Neo Nazi terrorist organization. Working under extremely dangerous conditions he was able gather Information and evidence which led to the arrests of the organization’s leaders. Yaron’s story became an HBO movie called “The Infiltrator ”, starring Oliver Platt as Yaron.
Yaron spent years searching for 40 uncut diamonds hidden on a French hillside at the end of WWII. What happened to him and how his adventure played out became an award winning History Channel movie called: “Blood from a stone”
My name is Yaron Svoray. I am a former Police Detective who has worked undercover with the American ATF (closely linked with the FBI). I later became an investigative journalist, author, a retriever of stolen WWII looted treasures and a public speaker. I am the son of Holocaust survivors.
I first gained worldwide attention when I working together with The Simon Wiesenthal Center I went undercover on a special mission to infiltrate the neo-Nazi movement in Germany. That mission enabled me to collect enough hard evidence to bring about the arrest of that movement’s leaders. I wrote a book, “In Hitler’s Shadow”, which tells the story of my life as a spy inside the German neo- Nazi movement. The book became an international bestseller and was adapted into an HBO movie entitled “The Infiltrator”, in which actor Oliver Platt portrayed me.
Utilizing my skills as a detective and a spy, I then went on to hunt to capture escaped Nazi criminals who fled to South America after WWII and tried to live there under false identifies.
Before infiltrating German neo-Nazi terrorist organizations, I traveled across Europe and the U.S. lecturing to police organizations, Universities, and conducting seminars about International terrorism.
My past as a soldier in an elite Commando Unit of the Israeli IDF and my days in the YAMAR – the equivalent of the American FBI – as well as working with American the ATF gave me the unique qualities, perspective, and knowledge to lecture on such topics as the inner workings of a terrorist cell; the means of infiltrating them, what happens to a man inside such an organization knowing that if he is found out he is a dad man and what are and the methods needed to defeat them.
“When I met Yaron Svoray for the first time I couldn’t have imagined that behind this easy-going, light, warm-hearted person stands a tremendous story full of kind of “24” or “Lie to me” adventures, moral perplexities and personal tragedy”

“Svoray’s topics mesh perfectly with both Jewish and non-Jewish audiences. I would highly recommend bringing Svoray to your community in conjunction with any Jewish or secular cause. He has a distinct gift for tying his stories to whatever”

Last week, I held the best author event I’ve ever offered (quoting several people). YARON SVORAY is the author of Blood from A Stone, which was made into a History Channel documentary. (Another of his books was made into an HBO movie.) It’s the true story of his search for 40 uncut diamonds purchased by Jews as “life diamonds” in the 1930s which were taken by the SS then captured by the US Army and hidden in a field on the Franco-German border. Won’t tell you more; there’s lots about it, and several youtubes of Svoray online.
Attached is our takeaway and a review submitted by a professional reviewer to our local Jewish paper.
Yaron was easy to work with, gracious during his stay (even after learned, minutes before his presentation, that his flight the next morning was cancelled due to weather); used no notes, and kept the audience spell-bound for 90 minutes about the search, the diversion to hunting Nazis and neo-Nazis (related and particularly gripping). He stayed long after to chat with folks and his fee was very reasonable considering that it included his flight from Israel.
A week later, people are still stopping me to tell me how much they enjoyed his presentation and/or express regret that they were unable to make it and did I have a video!

I wish each of you a safe and happy Passover,
